Enhancing Employer Brand and Online Presence Case Study

The company was struggling to reach the candidate audience it needed to in order to grow. Glassdoor ratings were poor to average (3.7), their was no careers page, no job board aggregation and LinkedIn content was minimal. With no marketing team in place, employer brand efforts lacked consistency and visibility.


Task


My objective was to improve the organisation’s employer brand and online visibility to attract a wider, more diverse candidate pool while ensuring that the company’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) was clearly communicated.


What I did


I designed and executed a comprehensive digital talent attraction strategy, which included:

  • Creating a dedicated careers page to showcase the EVP.

  • Digitalising job adverts for job board aggregation and optimising them for SEO.

  • Updating and curating the Glassdoor showcase page with engaging photos and detailed information on key business areas such as ED&I.

  • Designing and running an internal Glassdoor campaign to increase employee reviews, which successfully boosted and sustained our overall score.

  • Revamping the Indeed company page to generate stronger job posting traction.

  • Enhancing the LinkedIn company profile aesthetics, developing a posting schedule, and raising internal awareness to drive engagement through likes and shares.

  • Procuring a Canva account and upskilling in design to fill the gap of a dedicated marketing team, which enabled me to create branded content, including a Talent Attraction Pack (supporting document).

  • Leveraging the new ATS to post across multiple job boards simultaneously, diversifying candidate channels and increasing reach.


Result


The organisation’s digital presence was significantly elevated. The improved branding across platforms increased candidate engagement, widened the reach, and positioned them as an attractive employer in a competitive market.

  • LinkedIn followers - from 2000 (2022) to 7000 (2024)
